Classic Letterpress with a Pop of Gold

This invitation suite mixed classic black letterpress printing on thick cotton paper with an intricately cut laser cut sleeve made with metallic paper. The main invitation was printed on double-thick 220lb Fluorescent White Crane’s Lettra 100% cotton paper, while the accompanying insert pieces were printed on 110lb paper in the same shade. Each piece has a deep impression with black ink, with a combination of lovely script and a tidy serif font.

The show-stopper piece is the invitation sleeve made out of Stardream Metallics in Antique Gold. Using a laser cutter, each one was cut with a delicate floral design. Tucked inside a coordinating Crane’s Lettra envelope, each guest was sure to feel a bit of awe. The tone of the wedding is set with the invitation, so adding a bit of flair and personality can give a hint of the event to come.
